Hot Toddy

A tonic is not just called that because it sounds good, quinine has been used for many many years for it's medicinal benefits. You can read more about that here.

This recipe is our take on a Hot Toddy - the perfect remedy to what ails you.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp sin-ko-nah tonic syrup
A good dose of gin
Hot water (not too hot - you don't want to scald the gin!)

Method:

  1. Pour the tonic syrup into a mug.
  2. Add you gin.
  3. Fill the mug with your hot water.

Note: When served warm, the bitterness of the tonic syrup will be more pronounced, so you may wish to add a teaspoon of honey.
